The Scoop On Rapid City
Out of everyone I have told we are moving to Rapid City, South Dakota 98% of them have the same reaction. At first the look of shock with a mirrored “South Dakooota??” Then a look of pity upon my poor soul. Then an attempt at trying to make me feel better as they say something along the lines of “Oh well it will be something new/a great experience/I hear it’s beautiful there.”
I don’t blame them. I cried myself for an entire afternoon when Google failed to produce any results that satisfied my desperation to see that there was actually civil life in the wild mid-west.
I’ve come a long way since then. A really long way actually as every day I get more and more excited to get there. In spite of my initial failed research I have since happened upon a few websites that have peaked my interest in my new little hometown. So I thought I would share all the many wonderful things about Rapid City.
