The Day Our Lives Changed Forever

I went into labor at 1:00am on October 2, 2014. 17.5 hours later, at 6:21pm, miss Aubrey Eleanor Jamison came into the world and stole our hearts. She was 6 lbs 6 oz, 19 3/4″ long, and the most beautiful thing we had ever seen.

We had the most amazing labor and delivery team at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, and with their help, the help of our invaluable doula Nikki, and my amazing husband and birth coach we were able to have a natural drug-free delivery. I plan to write the birth story soon, and share some of the awesome photos Nikki captured, but for now we are getting to know our new baby girl.
