Spheres

I pinned this project from Hill Country Homebody a while back and knew as soon as we started decorating our new home that I wanted to make these perfectly rustic looking spheres.
I can’t take credit for any of the creative genius behind these wallet friendly beauties, so I give full thanks to HCH for a refreshingly easy DIY project that has added a lovely touch of rustic charm to our home.
I did use the dark walnut stain instead of ebony.

I played around with the embroidery hoops till I mimicked the spheres HCH created.

Then stained away! Luckily I was also in the middle of a staining project so I only had to drag everything out once. We had wooden pieces scattered throughout our house and the back deck.
After letting the stain dry, repositioning the hoops into the sphere design, and securing with thumb tacks they were complete!
I’m still waiting on our bedroom dresser to come in, but these are going to be the star of the show once it’s assembled.
