My Days Are Merging
I can’t tell whether I’m coming or going over here. I spent the week in Charlotte, but come last night I felt like my time there had passed with the blink of an eye. I’m sitting here tonight realizing tomorrow is Friday, and man does it not feel like it. I can’t even work up a little bit of good ol’ weekend excitement at the moment. Not having Husband around to enjoy a much needed date night with, or the build-up of a routine week to make the weekend that much more appealing, I’m sucking air. This week I’ve worked on a seemingly endless repair list for our little house, wined and dined with my favorite guncles and aunts, met with my boss about hopefully continuing my job in snowy SD, and squeezed in one short run with Jim Chew. As if that wasn’t enough I was met with a mile-long to-do list as soon as I got home that had me scrambling for a good two hours non-stop.
Needless to say I’m not working on all cogs and cylinders at the moment. So I thought I would share a few what I like to call one-hit-wonder photos from less crazy times over the past year, and give myself a few reminders of just how good life is if we take the time to see it.
