Living Room Makeover Before + After with Clayton Homes

REVEAL!!! It has been an absolute blast taking this living room space and implementing feedback from my insta followers (join the fun here!), while giving it my own personal touch! Clayton Homes does a fabulous job of creating beautiful blank canvases that make it easy to apply your unique, personal style. When it came to choosing a room to refresh for Clayton’s One Room Challenge, I narrowed it down to the primary bedroom or the living room. My followers helped me tremendously by voting in my story polls telling me that the living area is far more impactful to their home buying decisions over the primary bedroom. They also wanted to see how you can stretch your budget to refresh a room without replacing large furniture pieces. Based on the votes, I ultimately decided the living room was going to be the perfect space. 

Here was the before!

When it came to model home decor, my followers all said they would like to see decor that was cozy and livable, while also budget friendly – and friends, I think we made that happen! This was essentially a refresh in a day challenge, and I was fortunate to be able to use the existing sofa and chairs and mainly focus on adding pieces that highlight my style, and ones I thought would really maximize the space.
