This week's content was far from the norm, but I’m so thankful for all of your input and helping me prep to watch my besties launch their private label clothing line last night. This was the final look! Kudos to those of you who voted for option one on the fur coats.

it is amazing to watch people step into their true passions, and to watch their dreams literally come to life. They say you are the result of the people you surround yourself with, and I would be incredibly grateful for some of the greatness of my friends to rub off on me. Congrats @nestavl!!!

I snuck this little project in over the weekend last weekend. I’ve had this mirror for a while. Another ReStore find I’ve been trying to find a place for it ever since I bought it. It finally dawned on me that it makes perfect sense in this powder room. I loved the circle mirror that was here, but there are all kinds of vintage vibes in here and this one fit the bill.

Inadvertently storied some very different content from the sawdust covered usual yesterday, and apparently you guys are here for it! I’ve never gotten so many messages and reactions. I love you guys!

If you weren’t there, I’m working through getting ready for a fashion show Thursday, after being out of touch with fashion for years. Hello motherhood!

I thought some old Hollywood curls would set off my black jumpsuit, but I ended up looking more 50’s housewife than the sexy pin up I was hoping for. So I think I’m going for a more sleek look instead. I AM going with the many of you that suggested pearls, although not the classic look ones.

Thanks for all of the input! Sometimes it’s nice to get dolled up!

This was something I absolutely didn’t need but couldn’t pass up on marketplace. Like I lost sleep because we don’t have a good place for it in the house and I thought my husband was going to flip at more furniture piling up. BUT, not only is it gorgeous and incredibly unique, it’s also apparently a super valuable antique worth a whole lot more than the $80 I spent on it. I’m placing it here in the living room for now, although it’s going to have to move for the Christmas tree. I also tried it in the breakfast nook but it was too big...but also made me want a small table there now 😆.

I went a little nuts on marketplace this weekend. Do you ever find yourself running a little heavy on thrifted finds? My husband hates when things pile up, but eventually things find a place or are resold. I also made good money on marketplace this weekend so that’s a plus.

I found this set of odd little wooden prints a while back and decided to put them up in a few places to feel them out. Who else has a stack of thrifted at waiting in a home?

My beautiful majestic palm finally collapsed after

My beautiful majestic palm finally collapsed after months of trying to keep her alive. With that change, and an all day long cleaning, purging, and rearranging marathon I ended up cleaning out almost all of our closets, moving lots of things around, and eventually changed up our dining room. ⠀

I originally hung my husbands guitar here in hopes it would encourage him to play more. It worked! And now I’m hoping with the addition of this rocking chair he’ll play even more. The rocking chair was an old chair left by the hoarder that lived in our last house before us that we added rockers to and reupholstered - just in time to rock Eva when she was born so it’s super special to me. ⠀

I’m on the hunt for a secretary desk to go in one of the other corners where there is a plant tower currently, and a bigger curio cabinet to replace the black shelving unit so it’s not so crammed full. ⠀
