A South Dakota Sunrise

I rarely get up before the sunrises. I am NOT a morning person. No matter how many hours of sleep I’ve packed in, if you wake me up before 7:30 you are going to meet a groggy, red-eyed monster that can barely function.

On this particular morning however, I happened to be up. To tell you the truth, I can’t remember the reason why I was up so early. You see, my brain doesn’t function at those hours.

Anywho, as a reward for my getting out of bed and out of my comfort zone, I was blessed to see this beautiful sunrise in all its glory.

Sometimes, South Dakota takes my breath away at its beauty.
